I hope you like the result! The block is a bit bigger than what you asked for, Robin, but I'm thinking you can either work with it or find the best way to cut into it.

How does it work?
Each quilter is assigned a month.
That quilter sends fabric to the other quilters.
They include (and/or post to the blog) directions for the blocks.
The quilters make the blocks, post pictures of the blocks to the blog, and mail the blocks back to the quilter.
The quilter then assembles and finishes their quilt.
